Hello everyone, I'm Phuong from Vietnam. I'm planning to try some beauty services/aesthetic treatments in Korea soon, but I'm actually a bit confused about how to find a trustworthy clinic. Especially the communication issue – I'm worried it might be difficult to talk to the doctor because I'm not fluent in Korean.
Has anyone here had experience with consultations there? What do you usually check before choosing a place? Do they provide interpreters, or do you look for clinics with English-speaking or Vietnamese-speaking staff? I'd also like to know what sources you usually rely on – do you ask friends, search online, or are there any reliable websites?
I feel like I'll be more at ease knowing more from your experiences. Thank you all so much!

Hello! I'm also a foreigner and can totally understand your concerns. May I ask if you have any friends who have had this type of treatment in Korea? How did they find their clinics? I'm really curious if getting recommendations from friends is a more reliable way.
I was worried about the same thing before! My advice is to first look for hospitals on social media that have experience with international patients. Many places now have English or Vietnamese hotlines, so you can try calling them for a consultation. I brought translation software on my phone when I went, and although it was a bit of a hassle, it helped me a lot, haha. You can do it!
Hi Phuong! I was also worried about the language barrier when I first came here, but it turns out many places have English-speaking staff or even translation services. My tip is to try looking for international reviews or Asian beauty forums—people from Vietnam, Thailand, etc., often share their experiences in detail regarding communication and service. Hope your process goes smoothly! 😊
