Hello, my name is Beam. I'm an introvert and have only recently started getting interested in beauty and skincare. Honestly, I want to try a specific treatment, but I'm really torn between getting it done in Korea or finding a place locally. There are skilled practitioners here, but why do I feel like Korea offers something different...
What is it about our "cozy" (local) options that many of you trust? Where do you place your confidence? I know money is a significant factor, and long-distance travel is an obstacle, but I keep thinking that if I'm going that far, there must be something superior. I'm not confident about the recent information I've gathered.
Has anyone else faced this decision? How did you decide which option to choose? I'd love to hear real experiences from people who have been in the same position. Why did you choose Korea, or why did you choose to stay local? What are the points of comparison? Thank you! 🙏

I used to think the same way you do! A long trip might seem daunting, but I see it as an opportunity to understand things more thoroughly instead of rushing into a decision. Perhaps you should research both places further, talk to people who have experience in each location, and then decide based on what feels right for you.
I was in the exact same boat! It's really tough finding your niche. What I've noticed is that many people have a positive perception of professionals working in Korea, but they don't realize that great professionals can exist right in their own country. I highly recommend thoroughly researching the field you're interested in!
