Hello, my name is Aom and I'm from Thailand. This is my first time considering a trip to Korea for more in-depth skincare consultations. However, I'm feeling very anxious right now thinking about the total cost, as it's not just the consultation fees but also flights, accommodation, and recovery.
Has anyone here undergone an assessment and would like to share any insights beyond the consultation itself? For example, how many days are needed for recovery before returning to work, or how many days should be allocated for medical procedures and rest? I've tried searching online, but I'm still unsure about the actual expenses.
It's challenging because I have to calculate so many components. My home is far from Bangkok, and I'm afraid I might not be allocating enough budget. If anyone has experience planning a trip like this before, it would be greatly appreciated. Please share your tips on budget and time planning. Thank you! 🙏

I understand your concern, Om. Traveling to Korea for skincare definitely requires good financial planning! From my experience, I spent about a week and a half there and needed two or three days to rest before returning to work, but this varies from person to person, of course. My advice: try to book your first consultation online before you travel to confirm the plan and budget. Also, look for an Airbnb instead of a hotel to save on accommodation 😊
I can understand your concerns! I went from China last year and suggest you consult a few clinics in advance to see if their packages include post-operative care and follow-up appointments. Sometimes bundled deals are cheaper. Also, it's best to reserve a few extra days for recovery than you initially planned; this will give you more peace of mind 😊
I totally understand your concerns! When I first went to Seoul, I also thought I'd need a long recovery period. But in reality, many people who went for just 3-4 days were able to take care of themselves and return to work as usual (though it depends on what procedures they had done). To be honest, the travel budget, recovery time, and consultations made it feel much more necessary than I initially thought. 😊
I had the same worries the last time I went to Seoul, but I found out that doing your homework beforehand can really save you a lot of money! I suggest you first see if you can find friends who have been there to ask, or check local Chinese forums to get an idea of how many days you'll need to stay. This way, you can more accurately calculate the total budget for flights and accommodation.
