Hello everyone, I'm Na. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether to go to Korea for double eyelid surgery. I'm from China and have never been completely satisfied with my eyes. I've done a lot of research and feel that Korea truly has many experienced doctors in this area. However, flying all the way there for surgery, the back-and-forth travel, and considering post-operative care... I'm a bit hesitant about whether it's really worth it.
My main concern is how to balance cost and results. Have any sisters flown from China to have this done? How did you make your decision? For example, is an in-person consultation absolutely necessary to feel at ease? Also, is the recovery period troublesome, and do I need to stay there for a few extra days?
I'm also wondering whether to consult locally in China first and explore domestic options, or to directly plan a trip to Seoul. I feel like before any surgery, one should listen to real experiences rather than just looking at advertisements. Does anyone have any advice? I'm particularly interested in hearing about actual experiences, not just about the results, but whether the entire process is worth all the hassle.
