Hi, my name is Haruka. I've been struggling with something for a while, and I've finally decided to ask for your advice. I want to get a cosmetic procedure, but I'm really torn between getting it done in Korea or Japan.
Korean clinics have this image of being cutting-edge, and many of my friends who have had procedures done in Korea are very satisfied. However, I'm worried about the language barrier and how the aftercare will be handled... On the other hand, in Japan, I don't have to worry about the language, and I can easily consult someone if something happens. However, because of the cost and the wider range of options, I'm wondering if Korea might be better.
What criteria did you all use to make your decision? If anyone has experience, I would be grateful if you could tell me what you found difficult or what you liked about it. In particular, I'd like to know about post-operative support and any strategies you used to cope with language barriers.
