Hey everyone! So I've been researching double eyelid procedures and I keep seeing how Korea is kind of the go-to place for this. I'm from the US and I'm seriously considering making the trip, but I'm really torn about whether it's actually worth all the planning and travel involved.

I guess my main questions are — for anyone who's done this from abroad, what made you decide it was worth flying out? Like, is the cost difference that significant once you factor in flights and hotels? And how much time did you actually need to spend in Seoul? I'm worried about recovery, follow-ups, and dealing with potential issues from back home. Has anyone had complications and had to figure out aftercare long-distance?

I'm also just uncertain about choosing a clinic without being able to visit in person first. I know people recommend consultations, but how do you even pick one to start with? I don't want to just book based on Instagram or whatever. And honestly, I'm a little nervous about the language barrier during consultations and recovery — how did you all handle that?
