Hello everyone! I'm Gita from Indonesia, and lately, I've been thinking a lot about going to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've wanted this for a long time, but I've held back because many people said it's risky if done here. Now, I'm seriously researching options in Korea, but honestly, I'm still hesitant. Has anyone experienced this before? How long is the recovery time until you can get back to normal?
What worries me most is — is it really worth the hassle for the travel, accommodation, and all the costs involved? Plus, I'll have to take time off work too. What if there are complications or I need follow-up care? I've heard the results are good and the doctors are experienced, but I want to know from the perspective of real people who have done it, not just from marketing materials.

I also went to Seoul specifically from abroad for it, and my biggest piece of advice is to reserve at least a week in the local area beforehand. Don't rush the process! At the time, I wanted to return home as soon as possible and was a bit impatient during my recovery, which I later regretted a little. I also suggest consulting with several places and asking how they handle follow-up issues, because if you need a follow-up visit, there are definitely travel costs involved, so be especially cautious when making your choice.
