Hey everyone! So I just got back to my accommodation after a small procedure and I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage the swelling and bruising. I know everyone's skin reacts differently, but I'd love to hear what actually helped you guys during recovery.
I've been icing on and off, keeping my head elevated, and drinking a ton of water—but I'm honestly not sure if I'm doing this right lol. Has anyone found certain things that really made a difference? Like, are there any products or routines that helped reduce bruising faster? I'm also wondering about when it's safe to go back to my normal skincare routine.
I'm a bit paranoid about doing something wrong and making it worse, so any real experience or general tips would be amazing. Also curious if anyone has recovery timelines they want to share—just so I know what to expect over the next week or two. Thanks so much! 💜

I also just went through that, and while waiting for the swelling to go down, the most helpful things were staying hydrated and sleeping with a high pillow—it really made a huge difference, haha. Don't immediately panic about fancy products; maybe just ask the clinic how long swelling usually lasts for your skin type, because it really varies from person to person 😊
I also experienced quite a bit of swelling at first, haha, but what helped me the most was staying consistent with cold compresses every few hours and sleeping with a high pillow—it made a huge difference in the first few days! Hope you recover quickly, just be patient because everyone's body responds differently 💜
I just had it done too, and I'm really swollen right now 😅 Can I ask if you applied cold compresses continuously or with breaks? I heard some people say that prolonged cold compresses are actually not good, but others say continuous cold compresses are more effective, so I'm a bit confused.
