Hi everyone, my name is Kaew. I wanted to ask friends who've had aesthetic treatments at salons—is English communication sufficient? Personally, I can speak English but only basic conversational level, nothing fancy 😅 I'm worried that when I need to ask questions or describe specific details, like skin problems and such, I won't be able to communicate clearly.
I've heard that some clinics have staff who speak Thai. Does that matter when choosing a place, or is a translation app good enough? I'm not sure how detailed the initial consultation needs to be, since it's about my face and I need to be convincing about what I want 😔 Could anyone help me out? Thank you in advance!

I have the same concern! I think it would really be more reassuring to find a staff member who speaks English or your language, because when it comes to skincare, details matter a lot, and I wouldn't want any misunderstandings due to communication issues. Translation apps can help, but I still prefer direct communication to be more at ease, especially during the initial consultation.
I'm worried about the same thing too 😅 but I heard from other girls that good clinics have staff who speak English or even have translators, so I think you'll be able to communicate well but just make sure before you go that they can help you!
