Hi, my name is Muk. I'm planning a trip to Seoul next time to consult with skincare and beauty experts, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My Thai isn't very good, but my English is okay. My question is, are consultants in Seoul generally English-speaking? Do they have interpreters, or do I need to bring a Thai person with me?
I've heard that some places are fluent in English, but others think some people need some basic Korean. Has anyone been to Seoul before? (Apologies for the lack of Korean language skills). What kind of advice did you receive? I'm worried about potential misunderstandings when explaining my skin condition or needs. 🤔 Thank you for your advice!

Muk, have you tried contacting them beforehand via email or text message to ask if they have English-speaking staff? I've seen many places in Seoul that offer language support, but it's probably best to confirm beforehand to be sure.
Hi! I totally get the language worry — I felt the same before my first trip to Seoul. From what I've experienced, many places do have English-speaking staff, but it really varies, so bringing a translator app or having a friend definitely helps as backup. I'd suggest calling ahead to ask about their English options before you go, just to be safe!
