Hello, my name is Bua and I'm from Thailand. I'm thinking about getting aesthetic treatments in Korea, but I'm running into a problem — I can't understand the reviews at all. My Korean isn't good enough to read them 😭 When I look at clinic websites, I only see great reviews, but I honestly don't know if they're trustworthy or not.
I wanted to ask — for a foreigner like me, is there a way to find more reliable information? What should I look for when searching for clinics? And what are some red flags I should watch out for? Like how the doctor communicates, the consultation process, or anything else that seems off?
I've heard some friends mention going based on word-of-mouth recommendations, but I don't have many friends with experience in this 😢 Does anyone here have experience with this? Have you encountered anything suspicious, or do you have any tips for me? I'd really appreciate it!

Hey Boa! I totally get it—it's my first time doing treatments in Korea too, and I completely understand that nervous feeling 😅 Quick question though—have you thought about looking for places that offer English consultation services? I had a friend mention that some clinics provide translation assistance, which would definitely help you feel more at ease with communication. Do you have any specific treatments in mind right now?
Hey Boa! I'm a foreigner too, and I totally get your situation 😅 Just wondering—have you thought about reaching out to clinics through their international patient services or with a translator? I've found that some clinics offer English or other language support, which at least makes it easier to understand what the doctor is actually saying. Do you already have a specific treatment in mind?
I'm also from abroad, so I totally understand how you feel! 💭 I think the best approach is to pay attention during consultations to see if the doctor actually listens to you and answers your questions thoroughly, rather than rushing you into a procedure right away. I also rely on insights from friends who've had procedures before, or I search Facebook groups for foreigners living in Korea to get real, practical advice from people like us! 😊
