Hi everyone, I'm Juan. I'm considering getting a cosmetic treatment in Korea, but to be honest, I'm a little lost. My English is okay, but I might not understand medical terminology, so I'm particularly worried about communication.
I'd like to ask everyone, how did you find a trustworthy clinic? Is there anything I need to check beforehand? For example, do they have consultants who speak foreign languages, or is their translation service reliable? I've heard some clinics provide translators, but I'm not sure about the quality.
Also, what questions should I ask during the initial consultation? I want to make sure the doctor truly understands my needs, and not just try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary procedures. Can anyone share their experience? Especially about how to verify a clinic's qualifications and how to feel comfortable during the consultation. Thank you!

I completely understand your concerns! I'm a foreigner too, and I was initially terrified of communication problems and not knowing how to assess a hospital's qualifications. My advice is to first ask if they have Chinese or English-speaking consultants; don't rely solely on translation software, because medical terminology is really important. During your first consultation, if the doctor/consultant is willing to explain slowly and listen attentively to your needs instead of just pushing sales, the experience will be completely different. I hope you find a place you feel comfortable with!
