Hello ladies, I'm Huda from the UAE and I have a slightly embarrassing question 😅 I'm considering a cosmetic procedure here in Korea, and the problem is I can't read Korean reviews and ratings very well. Even if I use translation, I don't know if people are being genuine or not.
As an international traveler, how can I tell if reviews are real? And what are the red flags I should watch out for? For example, should I trust places with thousands of overwhelmingly positive reviews? Or should I focus on neutral reviews even if there are fewer? And what kind of suspicious language should make me steer clear of a particular place?
Any advice from ladies who have gone through this before? Or a better way to communicate with clinics and hospitals and understand their responses? Thanks everyone 💕

Hoo-da, I totally get it 😅 Even though I'm Japanese, I had the same concerns. Honestly, I tend to look for reviews that are specific and neutral rather than just numerous. Also, it might be best to ask questions directly during your consultation at the clinic and judge based on the staff's responsiveness and the thoroughness of their explanations. If you're worried about the language barrier, I recommend bringing a translation app and taking pictures of important parts 💕
I've been in your shoes, and I've found that looking for reviews from international sites or groups of travelers tends to be more honest. Also, try contacting the place you plan to visit directly via email in English. If they respond quickly and clearly, that's usually a good sign! 💙
