Hi everyone, I'm Fitri from Indonesia and I'm seriously considering flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've been thinking about it for a while, but what's been bothering me is whether it's really worth flying all that way for this procedure? Has anyone from abroad had this done and can share their experience?
My question is: how long is the recovery time? I work and can't take long vacations. Also, what if there are problems after the procedure? Is it safe to follow up online, or do I have to return to Seoul? This is my biggest concern.
I've heard many people say the clinics in Seoul are good and professional, but others also say there are great places in Jakarta. I'd really like to hear from those who have already made this decision—do you feel the difference in the results or the process is significant enough to warrant the hassle of flying? Budget-wise, I'm not sure exactly how much it will cost, including flights and accommodation.
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if anyone would share their thoughts or experiences. I'm still in the research stage and haven't committed to anything yet, so I'm open to all perspectives!

Petri, I went to Seoul last summer and it was so worth it! You should at least make an appointment with a local hospital before you go to Seoul to see if there is a difference, but if you decide to go, it is very important to have your rotation belt lined up.
I completely understand your concerns, Petri. I'm also from abroad and worried about the same things before my trip. The truth is, the decision to go depends on your personal priorities and budget, but many people say that initial experiences and consultations are very helpful in understanding the differences between the various options.
