Hi everyone! I'm Shihhan from Taiwan, and I've been seriously considering getting some beauty treatments in Seoul lately. However, I've been wrestling with one question: will English or Chinese be sufficient when I go for consultations? My Korean is absolutely zero, and I'm a bit worried about communication issues.
I know Seoul has a lot of international clients, so there should be plenty of places with English-speaking staff, right? But I'd love to hear about your real experiences – what language did you use for consultations? Have you ever encountered awkward situations due to language barriers? Or are there actually many clinics that offer translation services or apps to help?
Also, would it be safer to bring a friend who knows Korean along? I know this might be overthinking it, but since it's related to medical aesthetics, I want to make sure I truly understand all the details. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!
