Hi everyone! I'm Intan, and I'm planning to undergo a minor procedure in Korea next month, but the issue is I can only stay there for about 5-7 days. I'm a bit worried about swelling and how to manage aftercare once I'm back in Indonesia.
Does anyone have experience traveling after a minor treatment? I'd like to know, how long does swelling typically last until it returns to normal? And what should I bring from Korea for at-home aftercare? I've heard there are some good recovery products, but I don't know which brands are reliable or what's absolutely essential to bring.
Also, any specific tips for being on a plane or during travel? Like about sleeping positions, a suitable skincare routine, or things to avoid? I'm afraid the journey back might worsen the swelling. Hehe, maybe my questions are too many, but I want to prepare well before I leave. Thanks everyone!

Omg I totally get this anxiety — I did a small procedure last year and flew back to the US like 4 days later, so nerve-wracking! Honestly the first week is the most swollen, so by day 5-7 you should see a noticeable difference, but I'd definitely pack some gentle skincare from home just in case your routine changes things. The flight itself wasn't too bad for me; I just tried to sleep upright-ish, stayed hydrated, and avoided anything too hot or spicy. Good luck with your procedure! 💕
Hi Intan! I totally get your worry, I've been in the same situation myself, hehe. The most helpful things for me were sleeping with a higher pillow on the way home and drinking plenty of water—it seemed to help the swelling go down faster. Hope your procedure goes smoothly!
