Hi everyone, I'm Xinying. I've been considering getting a cosmetic procedure lately, but I'm stuck in a dilemma. On one hand, it's definitely more convenient to have it done in China; I wouldn't need to take time off work, and I could recover in a familiar environment. But on the other hand, I've heard that Korea's techniques and experience in this area seem to be different. I'm a little unsure if it's really worth flying all the way here.
My main concerns are twofold: first, the cost and time – is flying here worthwhile? Second, I'm worried about choosing the wrong place. There are reliable medical institutions in China, but I'm completely unfamiliar with hospitals in Korea and don't know how to find one that I trust. Have any of you ladies experienced this dilemma? How did you finally decide? What made you decide to come to Korea or stay in China?
I would be so grateful if someone could share their experiences and thoughts. I'm really torn right now and would love to hear everyone's opinions.

I understand how you feel! I was struggling with the same thing. In the end, I decided to go to Korea, and I think it was worth the trip because I could actually consult with a doctor there and I could get aftercare. However, if there is a trustworthy place in China, then there may be no need to go all the way there. It might be best to decide based on what is most important to you (cost? skill? peace of mind?).

I think the biggest considerations are how long you want results and how detailed the consultation is—in Korea, it seems like it's more detailed upfront, but it does require more complicated travel arrangements. Maybe you could research online communities or ask people who have been there to be more confident before committing?
