Hi everyone! I'm going to Korea next week for a small procedure and want to stock up on some post-operative care products beforehand. I've read a lot of posts and it seems like cooling masks and silicone scar patches are quite common, but I'm not sure which brands are reliable or what I actually need.
Any of you ladies have shared what skincare products you brought when you went abroad for beauty treatments? Especially those that help soothe and cool the skin. I've heard some people brought special repair gels and various face masks? I'm a bit overwhelmed right now and don't want to find myself lacking things when I get there.
Also, I'd like to ask if it's more convenient to buy these things in China and bring them over, or buy them locally? I'm a little worried about the hassle of clearing customs for liquids. Any advice or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated!

I understand your concerns! When I went, I wasn't sure what to pack either, so I only brought basic skin-soothing products from home and bought more there if needed. If you're worried about luggage, you can just bring a few things from home and buy other products in Korea as needed, because there are many options there. Have a great trip! 😊
Tell them before you go to Korea, then wait and see what you really want. At that time, you'll know whether it's better to buy it now or there. Usually, the shops have a wide selection, so don't worry about the availability of the goods.
When I went last time, I brought a lot of products, but I found that it would be more convenient to buy them on-site, because liquids are indeed a bit troublesome to get through customs! I suggest that you bring some basic face masks and soothing products first, and then buy them as needed when you get to Korea, so that you can also ensure that the products are fresh.
I've also had this done overseas, so I completely understand your concerns! I ended up buying it locally in Korea because it's really troublesome to bring liquids on a plane, and Korean drugstores have a wide selection. I suggest you consult a clinic first; they can usually tell you what types of products to use after the procedure, so you won't buy the wrong things.
