My name is Nga, and I'm considering going to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I live in Vietnam and have always wanted to improve my appearance, but I've never had any kind of procedure done before. I've seen many posts online about people going to Korea for this procedure, and the results seem very natural, but I'm still not sure if it's worth flying over.
I just want to ask if those who have had this procedure really see a difference? And what should I consider before deciding? I'm worried that if anything goes wrong after the surgery, it will be difficult to handle since I'm far from Vietnam. Also, I don't understand why going to Korea seems more popular than doing it domestically. Has anyone had a similar experience? I really want to hear your opinions before making a final decision.

Hi Ngai! I totally understand your concerns about the distance, I'm from outside Korea too. A little tip from my experience: before flying all the way, make sure you have a detailed online consultation and ask clearly about follow-up care, so you don't have to stress if you need help once you're back in Vietnam. Good luck with your decision! 💕
Age! I understand your concerns completely, because I traveled from Thailand the same way 😅 What helped me was finding a doctor who could provide video call follow-up care after I got home, and also scheduling sufficient follow-up appointments. However, you should ask the doctor directly to make sure what kind of remote care they support. You might try contacting different places to see what they are willing to help with. Hope this helps!
Hi Ngia! I'm also thinking the same thing, so I totally understand your concerns about distance and follow-up. What attracted me to Korea was also because of the many stories of people who had natural results and they were very detailed in their initial consultations—it seems like they really care about what you want. But yeah, the downside is the same as yours: if there's something that needs fixing, it's far away! I'm curious too, can anyone share their experience with this?
