I'm thinking about getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but is it worth traveling all the way there from overseas?

Hi, this is Maki. I've been struggling with something for a while, and I wanted to post this to hear from people who have had similar experiences. I'm currently in Japan, but I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I've heard that Korean cosmetic surgery has a good reputation, the skill level is high, and it's cheaper than in Japan, according to my friends. However, I'm still very anxious about having surgery overseas...

Actually, I'm wondering if the cost will end up being about the same as getting it done in Japan, considering travel and accommodation expenses. I'm also concerned about post-operative aftercare and whether I'll be able to get help if any problems arise. There's also the language barrier.

For those who have had surgery in Seoul, what was your experience like? Did you feel it was worth the trip? I'd also like to know what the process was like, from the initial consultation to post-operative follow-up. Also, how did you choose a clinic, and what were the deciding factors? I would really appreciate any advice.
