Hi ladies! My name is Chi, and I'm planning to go to Korea for some beauty treatments, but I'm completely confused about choosing a clinic. I don't know how to find a reputable one, and I'm also worried about communication. Could any of you experienced Koreans or foreigners share some tips on how to check if a clinic is trustworthy?
I'm wondering what I should look for first? Are there any specific documents or certifications I should check? And what about the language barrier? Did you request an interpreter, or did any clinics have Vietnamese-speaking staff? I'm a little worried because I want to clearly understand what the doctor says during the consultation.
Has anyone gone alone or with friends to find a clinic and can share their experience? I'd really appreciate some practical tips. Thanks a lot!

When I went to South Korea for a consultation last time, I wrote down all the questions I wanted to ask using Google Translate beforehand. I showed them to the doctor during the consultation, and the communication went much more smoothly! Some places do have staff who speak Vietnamese. You can call ahead to ask, or look for places with international patient departments. They are usually more experienced in handling language issues.
I completely understand your concerns! I went alone last year too, and the language barrier was definitely the biggest challenge. My advice is to find places online beforehand that offer consultation services in English or your native language. When you do consult, be sure to ask lots of questions and don't be shy, because it's about your own health!
