Hi, this is Yui. I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Korea next month, but I have a trip coming up right after, so I'd like some advice on swelling care. Since I'll be traveling 2-3 days after the procedure, I don't think the swelling will completely subside.
What items do you all carry with you to deal with post-procedure swelling? Cooling sheets, creams, anything else you recommend? Also, I'd like to know if there are any precautions you take before boarding a plane or during travel.
It's my first time, so I'm a bit anxious, and I have no idea what I should prepare beforehand... I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have actually experienced a similar situation. Thank you!

Oh hey, I'm actually planning something similar soon! Did you end up asking your clinic what they recommend bringing for swelling management during travel? I'm curious if they have specific suggestions for flights since that's what worries me most.
I wanted to ask, if I travel and am exposed to the heat or sun like in Thailand, will it cause the swelling to worsen? Because I'm worried about being in the sun a lot.
I'm also considering a similar situation, so thank you for asking! Hearing that you have to fly 2-3 days after surgery, I understand the anxiety. I've seen many people say that cooling compresses and a light moisturizing cream are essential, and also to rest as much as possible and drink plenty of water before the flight. I hope you can find a suitable method for your trip 😊
