Hi everyone! So I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Korea in the next few weeks, but I'm heading straight back to Indonesia afterward. I'm a bit worried about the swelling and how to manage it during the trip.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I'm curious, how long does it usually take for the swelling to go down? And what products should I bring from Korea for aftercare? Does anyone recommend a particular serum or essence that's good for soothing skin? I'm not sure if it's better to buy them here or in Korea...
Also, for air travel, do you have any special tips? I'm worried that the plane might make the swelling worse. And what about my skincare routine during recovery—does it have to be super gentle, or can I just use regular products?
Thanks if anyone is willing to share their experiences! Hopefully your tips can help me prepare better 💕

I did a similar small project in Korea before, and then took a long flight back. The ice packs were a lifesaver! I bought a few ice packs at a convenience store and kept them on during the flight; they really seemed to help. As for skincare products, I only brought my usual gentle toner and moisturizing masks; I didn't buy any special products, and it seemed fine. 😊
I understand how you feel! I'm thinking about a similar situation, so this post is really helpful. I've heard it's a good idea to prepare a cold pack or a compression mask before getting on a plane, so I think I'll look for one in Korea. Let's do our best together! 💕
After reading your post, I totally understand because I was thinking of doing the same thing last month and then going on a trip right away 😅 I'm hoping to get some advice on what to prepare, because I'm worried about getting bloated on the plane and looking weird when I get home.
I used to fly immediately after my skincare treatment, and the soothing mask I bought in Korea a few days ago really saved me! Remember to drink plenty of water during the flight and try to sleep with your head elevated. Applying a cold compress after landing will also help. However, the recovery time varies from person to person, so I suggest consulting your doctor for peace of mind. 💕
Hi sister! I'd also like to know what kind of minor procedure you had done? Because the swelling time seems to vary quite a bit depending on the procedure, which might make it easier to determine if it will significantly affect your flight. 😊
