Hi everyone! I'm Yan. I just had a minor procedure done two days ago, and my face is still a bit swollen and bruised, which is making me a little anxious. I wanted to ask experienced ladies how you usually care for your skin after these kinds of procedures? I've heard that ice packs are important, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it or how long to apply them.
Also, I'd like to ask if there's anything I should pay special attention to during the recovery period? Like diet, exercise, and skincare products? I'm a little afraid to touch my face now, worried it might affect the recovery. Does anyone have a recovery diary or tips to share? I really want to know how long it usually takes for others to look normal.
If anyone else recently had this done, let's encourage each other! I look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences!

Hey Yan! Two days in and the swelling/bruising is totally normal—I'm curious though, did your doctor or clinic give you specific aftercare instructions, or are you kind of figuring it out as you go? I'm wondering if different types of procedures have pretty different recovery timelines.
Hi Yan! I also recently had a simple treatment and am currently experiencing swelling 😅 I wanted to ask you, besides ice packs, are you using any special skincare products? I'm a little worried that using too many products will irritate my skin, but I'm also afraid it will become too dry. I'm not sure how to strike a balance~
Ah, I understand how you feel, Yan! 🙏 I had the same problem after a short while, and the swelling and bruising scared me at first, but trust me, it goes away faster than you expect, and God willing, you'll feel the difference within a week or two 💫
Hi Yani! Good luck with your recovery 🙏 I'm also considering doing something similar, so thank you so much for sharing this experience. I'd love to know what your days are like, especially how long it takes for the swelling and bruising to go away. I hope you recover quickly and everything goes smoothly!
I'm also considering a similar minimally invasive procedure, and your sharing has been really helpful! Hearing about the swelling and bruising makes me understand even more how important post-operative care is. Keep going, sister, I'm sure you'll recover quickly! 💪
Oh hey Yan, I totally get the worry — I'm in the same boat right now and the swelling/bruising is honestly stressing me out too! I've been trying to be super gentle with my face and keeping up with cool compresses, though I'm also not 100% sure if I'm doing it right. Would love to hear from others who've been through this about how long the puffy stage actually lasts and what helped them feel better faster!
