Hello everyone, I'm Juan. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently. I've consulted with a few places in China, but I've heard that Korean aesthetics and techniques might be a better fit for the results I'm looking for. However, I'm still a bit hesitant about having surgery abroad, as it means taking time off work, spending money on flights, and not being able to return home immediately during the recovery period.
I'd like to hear your thoughts – if I can find a reliable doctor in China, is it really necessary to go all the way to Korea? Or does Korea's plastic surgery culture and experience truly lead to results that better align with East Asian aesthetics? I'm still a bit unclear about the exact results I want, and I'm not sure if one consultation can really help me figure it out.
Also, for those coming from overseas, what's a reasonable plan for the recovery period? How long do I need to stay there? In the end, I think finding a doctor you can trust is the most important thing, so whether it's in your home country or in Korea, I feel it's crucial to get consultations that you're satisfied with. In my case, I decided after getting multiple consultations and comparing them. I think you should plan for at least two weeks for recovery time 💭
