Hi everyone, I'm Fang. I've been considering double eyelid surgery lately. I've consulted a few clinics in China, but a friend said that doctors in Seoul are particularly experienced and produce natural-looking results. I'm tempted, but I'm also hesitant—is it worth flying all the way to Korea for this surgery, besides the cost of the procedure itself, to cover airfare, accommodation, and potential time off work during recovery?
I'd like to know if any of you have flown from China or elsewhere to Seoul for this procedure? How did you decide? Was it mainly due to the doctor's skill, or were there other factors? I'm a little worried about the long distance if I need follow-up appointments or adjustments after the surgery.
Also, I'd like to ask what I should focus on when doing my research? Should I directly contact the hospital, or should I first look at other people's experiences in online communities? I'm a bit confused right now and would appreciate your advice and thoughts.

Feng, your question is very logical! I'm also from the UAE and I was thinking the same thing — is it really worth the trip and the extra expenses? Have you already tried consulting any clinic in Seoul online, or are you still in the research phase?
I'm also considering this, so I understand your concerns! I think the key is to thoroughly research the doctor's experience and see if the results are natural, because that's the most important thing you mentioned.
