Hi everyone, I'm Yunru from Taiwan. I'm considering doing a treatment in South Korea, but honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed. Besides the treatment itself, there's the cost of airfare, accommodation, and food, and my budget feels like it's about to explode. Could someone share how much time I should allocate? Do I need to take a whole week off, or are a few days enough?
I've never done any treatment abroad before, so the whole process is completely unfamiliar. I'd like to ask how long it usually takes from the initial consultation to the completion of the treatment? Will I need to have several follow-up appointments? If I want to allow for recovery time, how should I plan my itinerary to be more practical?
Also, do you have any suggestions for accommodation? Is it more convenient to be near the medical area, or is convenient transportation sufficient? Budget planning seems so complicated, but I really want to prepare well for this trip. Would anyone be willing to share their planning experience? Thank you!

Hello! This is also my first time going to Korea for treatment, and I totally understand your concerns 😅 I later discovered that you don't actually need to stay for a full week; you can arrange it according to your own recovery progress. Some friends said four or five days is enough, but it depends on what treatments you want to do. I'm currently debating whether to stay near the hospital or in Hongdae; I feel like I have to weigh transportation and price in both. Someone suggested that I make an appointment and consultation first before deciding on the itinerary, which might make it clearer how to arrange the time!
