Hi everyone, it's Yun. I'm considering a non-surgical nose filler, but my vacation time is quite limited. I wanted to ask, how long does it typically take to recover from this type of injectable nose enhancement to a point where I can fly?
I've heard there might be swelling and bruising, but I'm really unsure about how long it takes for those to subside. Have any of you had similar procedures done? About how long after did you fly back home? I haven't consulted a doctor yet, so I'm not sure what to expect for my specific situation.
Also, I'm wondering if flying itself might affect the recovery process, or if it's okay as long as the swelling has mostly gone down? Can anyone with experience share their insights? Thanks everyone~

Hi! I'm also considering this and wanted to ask if you've consulted a doctor about a specific recovery timeline? I've heard that everyone's situation is pretty similar, but I'd still like to hear about everyone's actual experiences~
I've had something similar done before, and my experience was that swelling was most noticeable for the first three days. I was presentable after about a week, but it took longer for the swelling to completely subside. I flew back to my home country five days after the procedure. The main things I did were drink plenty of water and avoid looking down. The flight itself didn't have a particular impact, but I still recommend consulting your doctor to be safe, as everyone recovers at a different pace!
I've been in your shoes too, with limited time and wanting to get a procedure done, so I was really worried! From what I've heard from friends, most people can fly within 1-2 weeks, but it really depends on each person's body, so you should ask your doctor for specifics during your consultation 😊
