Hi everyone, I'm Tuyến and I'm currently really torn about a decision. I'm considering getting a cosmetic procedure but I'm unsure whether to do it in Vietnam or book a flight to South Korea. Both places have their own advantages, but I'm not sure which option is truly better.
The reason I want to go to Korea is because I've heard a lot about their technical skill and technology, plus the opportunity to get opinions from different doctors. But on the other hand, getting it done at home is more convenient, travel costs are lower, and follow-up is easier if needed. I also don't know how much the actual prices will differ.
Has anyone else considered these two options? I'd love to hear about your experiences, any points I should consider more carefully, or any advice you might have. I'd really appreciate it!

I totally get how you feel! I've been to Korea twice and also lived in Vietnam. What's important to me is to think about follow-up care after any procedure. That way, if any issues arise, you can easily get it checked and fixed at home. That's the advantage of getting treatments done locally 😊 As for pricing and other details, you should definitely consult with a few places first!
Hi Tuyên! I've experienced something similar, and I think the most important thing is to research the doctor first before deciding on the location—not the other way around. I actually focused more on looking for recommendations from friends who'd had treatments rather than immediately thinking about Korea vs. local. Hope you find the best option for you! 😊
I totally get your dilemma! I've also been wondering whether to do it domestically or in Korea, as it feels like both sides definitely have their pros and cons. I'm currently leaning towards choosing Korea, mainly because I want to consult with several doctors, and I've heard their aesthetics and techniques are indeed different. However, post-operative follow-ups are a real concern, so I hope to find a doctor who can provide remote follow-up. I'm not sure what you've decided in the end, but please remember to share if you have any results!
Hi! I'm curious, have you had similar treatments in Vietnam before? Or is this your first time considering something like this? I feel like that would have a pretty big impact on your decision.
