Hi everyone! I'm Hsinyi, and I'm planning a trip to Seoul for a small treatment. I wanted to ask experienced sisters out there: what kind of at-home skincare products do you usually bring back to help with recovery? I've heard things like cooling masks and soothing gels are quite important, but I'm not sure what to prepare.
I was wondering if I should bring silicone scar sheets, cooling masks, or something similar? Or are these things readily available at local convenience stores, so I don't need to specifically bring them from Taiwan? Honestly, I'm a bit anxious, worried that my skin might feel uncomfortable afterward and I won't have suitable products on hand.
If anyone has undergone similar treatments, could you share what you packed? Especially gentle, soothing products. I'd love to hear about your actual experiences so I know how best to prepare! Thanks! ~

I had the same worries! But actually, convenience stores in Seoul have a pretty good selection, so it might be better to buy them there instead of bringing them all the way. However, I always bring my own calming sheet masks because when my skin is sensitive, familiar products are really reassuring 😊
Honestly, I'd say just grab the basics before you go — like a good gentle cleanser and some soothing sheet masks — because Seoul has literally everything at the convenience stores anyway! I was so worried about this too, but ended up finding exactly what I needed at GS25 the day after my procedure, so maybe don't stress too much about packing everything.
I totally get your concerns! The last time I went to Seoul, I also brought a ton of stuff from Taiwan, worried I wouldn't have enough. But honestly, convenience stores and drugstores in Seoul have everything. It's definitely not too late to buy cooling masks and soothing products once you get there. You might even be able to ask the staff if they have anything suitable for post-procedure use. In hindsight, instead of bringing a lot of things, it's better to just bring your usual gentle cleanser. That way, you'll feel more at ease!
