Hello everyone! My name is Tari, I'm from Indonesia and planning a trip to Seoul next month. I want to take the opportunity to consult about aesthetic treatments there, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. I can speak English reasonably well, but not fluently, and of course, my Korean is still zero. Has anyone had experience consulting in Seoul? Do clinics there usually have English-speaking staff? Should I try to learn some Korean keywords first?
Seriously, I really want to be able to communicate well with the doctor, as this is not a trivial matter. So I want to make sure I fully understand what's going to be done and what realistic results to expect. Any recommendations on using a translator app or something similar? Or has anyone brought a friend who speaks the local language?
Thanks so much for your info and experiences! 😊
