Hi everyone, I'm Giang from Vietnam. I'm planning to do some minor paperwork in Seoul next week, but I'll have to fly back home immediately afterward (about 2-3 days). I'm extremely worried about caring for my wound without direct medical assistance, especially the swelling.
I'd like to ask if anyone has ever gone abroad for paperwork and then flown back like this? What are your experiences? What should I bring with me? I've heard I should bring certain skincare products, but I don't know exactly which ones or how to use them safely.
And what about the swelling? Will it go away in a few days? Should I bring anything to help reduce swelling while on the plane? I'm really worried that flying in that condition will make things worse. Can anyone share their experiences with me? 🙏

Gyan-san, thank you for your hard work! Actually, I've been thinking about something similar, so I completely understand how you feel 😅 It's really worrying to return home for such a short time. I think the best thing to do is to talk to your doctor before you go back and ask them specifically about the care you can do yourself. I hope you can hear from someone who has gone through something similar, good luck!
Hi Giang! I had a similar experience during my last trip to Seoul, which was also a quick visit. My advice was to bring ice packs and a turtleneck sweater back to Taiwan, keep my head elevated on the plane, and drink plenty of water. After returning home, I rested for a few days, and the swelling gradually subsided in about a week, so don't worry too much! I suggest you consult the place where you had your treatment before you leave; they should be able to give you specific home care advice, which will put your mind at ease.
