Hey everyone! I'm honestly torn right now and would love to hear how others have navigated this decision. I've been thinking about getting a cosmetic procedure done for a while, and I've started researching clinics in Korea because I've heard such good things about the level of care and innovation there. But I'm also wondering if I should just stick with getting it done here in the US where I live.
The thing is, I keep going back and forth. On one hand, Korea seems like it could be a really cool experience—combining a procedure with a little trip, recovery in a new place, etc. But there's also the logistics of travel, being far from my regular doctor if anything feels off, time off work, and honestly just the unknown of it all. Plus I'm not even sure if the costs would actually work out in my favor once I factor in flights and accommodation.
For anyone who's done a procedure abroad—how did you actually make the call? Did you feel like it was worth it, or do you wish you'd done it closer to home? And if you went to Korea specifically, how did you handle the aftercare stuff? I'm definitely not in a rush, so I'm trying to think this through carefully rather than just jumping into it because it sounds exciting.
Would love to hear your honest takes!

I understand, I'm struggling with the same thing! Whether to go to Korea or get treatments locally... As the poster said, aftercare and how easy it is to contact someone if something goes wrong are really important. I'm also gathering information without rushing.
