My name is Linh, and I'm from Vietnam. I'm thinking about going to Seoul for double eyelid surgery, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I've heard many people say that the doctors there are very skilled and have excellent techniques, but I'm still worried about the total cost—flights, hotels, healing time… Does anyone have any experience they can share?
I currently have some options in Vietnam, but I don't know if the quality differs significantly. I don't want premature aging or unsatisfactory results, so I'm thinking carefully. Has anyone considered surgery abroad versus domestically? What was your decision?
Also, I'd like to know how difficult it is to find a suitable doctor in Seoul? I guess I need to do some research beforehand, but I'm not sure where to start. I'd really appreciate any help you can give me!

Hi Linh, have you looked into whether the cost of flights, accommodation, and recovery in Seoul is more expensive than doing it in Vietnam? I'm also considering this and would like to know how much you've calculated for the whole trip.
Hi Lin! I'm curious, have you consulted with a doctor in Vietnam to hear their opinion? It seems worth comparing the quality differences before deciding to head to Seoul.
Lynn, I completely understand your concern! I'm also from abroad and I was thinking the same thing - is it worth traveling or should I stay in my country? The truth is, it depends on your budget and the time you have to recover, because travel and accommodation costs add up a lot to the basic cost.
I understand your concerns! I went through something similar, and what I learned is that finding people with real before-and-after results from international clients is much more helpful than just looking at websites. 😊 You might try posting in family line groups or the Korean section of Reddit, as there are many other people like you there.
Hi Lin Jie! I'm also considering this issue, and I completely understand your dilemma. I think instead of just listening to what others say, it's better to look at real post-operative before-and-after photos and recovery process sharing. This will help you determine if it's worth the expense and time. Good luck!
I completely understand your concerns! I'm also from overseas, and I was incredibly conflicted when considering this decision because airfare and accommodation alone are a significant expense. However, I think the most important thing is finding a doctor you truly trust; this is more crucial than location. I have friends who have excellent doctors in Vietnam, and others in Seoul who are also doing well. The difference really lies in the person, not the city. You can check out other people's experiences shared on forums; perhaps you'll find some clues to help you make your decision!
