Hi everyone! I'm Wanchen. I recently returned from Seoul and had some minor treatments done. I'm feeling a bit anxious while recovering at home and would like to ask for your experiences.
I brought back some cooling masks and soothing gels, but honestly, I'm not sure how to properly combine them for home care. I saw online that silicone sheets are quite important for post-operative care in the weeks following the procedure, but I haven't bought any yet—has anyone used these products? What were the results like?
Also, what basic aftercare products do you usually prepare? Do you have any recommended types or a must-have list? I'm currently using cooling masks every day, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I'd love to hear your practical experiences! Thank you!

I just got back from Seoul and I'm in the same recovery phase as you! I also bought a cooling mask and soothing gel, but I'm not sure how to use them together correctly, so I feel a little worried, just like you. I've heard others say that you need patience and to follow the instructions from the care provider, but specific experiences from others would be very helpful!
Hi! Your experience sounds interesting, I'm thinking of doing something similar 😊 It's really helpful to hear from people what products they should buy after they get back, so this post is valuable. It seems like everyone has their own skincare routine, and hearing your experience helped me understand what I should buy.
I understand, after-skin care can be quite a challenge, right? I was in a similar situation last month, but instead of alternating between a cooling mask and moisturizing gel, I found that prioritizing simply cooling my skin first helped it calm down faster. Also, my therapist told me that it's best not to add anything extra for the first week, so gradually adding other skincare products after that worked well for me.
Good luck! I was thinking the same thing as you, so this post was a great help. It would be great to hear your experiences as my daughters are interested in trying these things.
Sister, after the procedure, was your skin very red, or was it back to normal the next day? I'm considering whether I should buy other products besides the cooling mask.
I understand, I felt the same way! It's really hard to know what kind of care to do after returning home. I heard that it's okay to use a cooling mask every day, but to be honest I'm not an expert, so if you need medical advice, I think the safest thing to do is contact the place where you had the procedure.
I'm also considering going to Seoul for a short treatment, and seeing your experience is encouraging! Cold compress masks should be pretty good; my friend relied on them after returning home and said her skin recovered quite quickly.
I also had a facial treatment a while ago and am still recovering! I also bought a cooling mask, but to be honest, after using it for over a week, I'm a little unsure about the results. I guess everyone's skin is different. Right now, I'm alternating between the cooling mask and gentle soothing products. My doctor told me to keep my skin moisturized, so I'm still figuring out the best combination for me. If you find any good methods, please share! 😊
