Hi! My name is Noi (Oil) from Thailand. I'm planning a trip to Korea soon for some beauty treatments, but I'm confused about finding a trustworthy clinic. There are so many to choose from! 😭
I'd like to ask how those of you who have been to Korea found trustworthy clinics, or what methods can help ensure reliability? During consultations with clinics, did you usually arrange for an interpreter, or did you have to find one yourself? And how important is translation during consultations? I want to ask lots of detailed questions and avoid being blind to the process. 😅
If anyone has experience or advice on checking the trustworthiness of a clinic, what red flags to watch out for, or even communication tips, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you! 🙏💕

I'm also considering getting cosmetic surgery in Korea, and I totally understand your question! I'm currently struggling to find a reliable place, and I feel it's really important to have a translator beforehand. This way, I can express my thoughts more clearly during consultations and avoid misunderstandings.
I had the same dilemma when I went to Korea last year 😅 My advice is to first check local Chinese communities or Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) to see if anyone has shared their experiences. Then, use Google Translate or a translation app to write down all your questions beforehand. This will make you feel more confident when you consult with them! A good interpreter is indeed very important, because when it comes to medical and health matters, some details really can't be ambiguous. I contacted a Chinese-speaking consultant in advance, and it made me feel much more at ease 💕
