Hey everyone! My name is Tan, and I'm planning to go to Korea in a few weeks to finally get that beauty treatment I've been wanting to do for a while. Right now I'm confused about what I should prepare for this recovery period 😅
I've heard that after any treatment, you need to use cooling gels or cold masks to help cool down the skin, and there are also silicone sheets for scars. But I'm not sure whether I should buy these from Thailand first or wait and buy them in Korea, because I'm worried that after the treatment my skin will be inflamed or hurt so much that I can't even go out 😂
Has anyone here been before? Do you have any recommendations about preparing for aftercare? Which aftercare products should I get that work best? And do they actually work? Thanks in advance 💛

Honestly, I'd suggest just buying the basics at home before you go — like gentle cleansers and maybe a simple moisturizer you know your skin likes — because honestly the aftercare stuff can get overwhelming when you're trying to heal and enjoy Seoul at the same time! I grabbed some cooling products there too, but I wish I'd just brought what I knew worked for me instead of wandering around feeling tender haha
Oh, I'm a foreigner too, so I totally get your concern 😂 From my experience, it's better to buy locally, since Korean drugstores are literally everywhere, and the staff or pharmacists will recommend products that are actually suitable for post-procedure use—way less chance of buying something that doesn't work for you. That said, you could bring a few ice packs or cooling pads in your luggage beforehand since they're light and don't take up much space!
I'm worried about the same things too! 😅 I think it's better to buy your basic products here before traveling to make sure you know what you need, but you can also find everything in Korea easily and maybe at better prices, especially right after the procedure if you need anything extra.
Half-hearted on this one 😅 And after you were done, how long did the swelling last? How many days do you think you need to wait before you can go sightseeing normally?
