Hi everyone! I'm Yen, and I'm considering flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've looked at tons of before/after photos online and heard stories from friends, but I'm still struggling to decide if it's worth the effort, money, and time. Has anyone had a similar experience they can share?
I'm sure the cost will be higher than surgery in Vietnam, but I'm also unsure about the exact prices there. Additionally, I'm worried about having to stay in Seoul during the recovery period and communicating with the doctor when I'm not fluent in Korean. Has anyone gone through this and can share how it felt?
I'd really love to hear your opinions – anyone who's considered this, or even gone through with it, can you help me figure out if it's the right decision? Thanks so much!

Hi Yen, I'm also Vietnamese and have had a similar experience 😄 The most important thing is to find a consultant who speaks good Vietnamese or English before you go, and then prepare your list of questions thoroughly so you don't feel flustered. Regarding recovery time, I found that people here are more attentive, but the cost is indeed higher than in Vietnam – you should carefully consider whether the value of what you want is worth it!
