Hi everyone! I'm Maya, and next month I'm planning a trip to Korea for some treatments. I'm super excited, but honestly, I'm a bit nervous about the aftercare. I know I'll definitely need products to help with recovery at home later.
Has anyone prepared their own aftercare items before going to Korea? I'm thinking about what to bring from here — like cooling masks, silicone scar sheets, and some soothing gel. I'm worried that if I don't bring them myself, buying them there might be expensive or difficult to find ones that suit my skin.
Has anyone tried bringing cooling masks from Indonesia? Did they go through luggage smoothly? And for gels or soothing creams, any recommendations that were really helpful for recovery? I want to prepare as best as I can but also don't want to overprepare if it turns out not to be necessary, haha.
Thanks! Any tips or shared experiences would be super helpful!

I was also super panicked about aftercare when I first went to Korea! In the end, I brought a few products from here that I already trusted, and then bought some lightweight ones at duty-free just in case. Sheet masks and gels are abundant in Korea and much more affordable than I imagined, so maybe you don't need to bring too much from Indonesia — just bring the essentials and we can look for the rest there if needed, what do you think? 😊
I totally get how you feel! I was worried about the same thing when I was getting ready for my stay in Korea 😅 Following the advice of many people on the forum, I packed these items. But honestly, a lot of things can be bought in Korea too, and they're not as expensive as I thought. As for liquids and gels, some might be an issue with airport regulations if you put them in your carry-on, but trying to put them in your checked luggage again is more reassuring.
I feel the same way you do! I'm planning to bring a few things from Vietnam because I'm worried the prices there might be high or the products might not suit my skin. I hope the masks and gels I've prepared will be allowed in checked baggage; they look like they should be, but I'm not entirely sure.
Hi Maya! What kind of fillers are you getting from Indonesia? This seems important because different procedures require different aftercare. I'm really curious!
Maya, that's a great question! I had the same concern, so I'm curious too. After you actually returned from Korea, for how long did you need to use the care products? About a week? Or did it feel like you used them for longer? I'm hoping this will be helpful 🙂
