Hi everyone, I'm Wati from Jakarta. So I'm really interested in trying a more serious aesthetic procedure, but I'm really unsure where to get it done. In Indonesia, there are reasonably priced options close to home, but I'm worried about the quality and consistency of the results. On the other hand, Korea is very well-known for aesthetic treatments, and I know the technology is more advanced, but of course, it's much more expensive and requires careful planning.
Has anyone ever made a decision like this? How did you choose? Is it really worth going to Korea, or is it better to try it in Indonesia first? I'm also a bit concerned about follow-up care if the procedure is done abroad. Also, I don't know what a realistic budget is for treatment in Korea—is it worth it compared to domestic options?
Maybe someone has experience with both? I'd love to hear your perspective so I can make a more confident decision. Thanks in advance! 🙏

I had the same concerns and actually went to Korea, and I felt that the pre-treatment consultation was incredibly thorough. Compared to Indonesia, the explanations were much more detailed, and I felt like they really understood my wishes, so I felt reassured in that respect. However, post-treatment care is certainly difficult because of the distance, so it might be a good idea to try a smaller procedure first!
Regarding her past, I'm wondering if she's ever been to Korea before, and what the post-treatment care was like abroad. I'm concerned about that as well. 😅
I completely understand your concerns! I'm considering the same issue and struggling with whether to have it done domestically or make a special trip to South Korea. I've heard many people say that the technology in South Korea is indeed more mature and stable, but I'm also worried about the cost and aftercare issues you mentioned. Perhaps we could gather more information together and see if we can find someone who has had it done to share their experience.
