Hi everyone, I'm Suong from Vietnam. I'm planning to go to Korea for some aesthetic treatments, but since it's my first time, I'm quite worried about finding a trustworthy place. I don't speak much Korean, only English, so I wanted to ask you all how you usually find clinics?
I'm interested in whether clinics offer interpreter services, or at least have English-speaking staff who can provide clear consultations. Because I think understanding the procedure and what they will do is very important. Does anyone have experience with this?
Also, I'd like to know what everyone usually checks before deciding to visit a clinic. Are there any signs that indicate a clinic is reputable? I see a lot of reviews online, but I don't know which ones to trust. Could you share your insights with me? Thank you all so much!

Hi Suong! I totally get your concern about the language barrier — I had the same worry when I first came here. Honestly, I've found that asking in English-speaking expat Facebook groups specific to your city is super helpful, because people share their actual experiences and whether staff spoke English. Also, when you call clinics to ask questions, their willingness to take time answering you in English (or finding someone who can) is already a good sign of how they treat international clients, you know? Good luck with your consultations!
