Hey everyone! I'm Bea from the US and I've been going back and forth on this for weeks now. I'm thinking about getting a procedure done, and I keep flip-flopping between just doing it locally versus making the trip to Korea. There are pros and cons to both that honestly won't stop cycling through my head.
Like, doing it at home is convenient and I wouldn't have to travel, but I'm a little hesitant about the options and experience level where I live. I've heard so many good things about clinics in Korea, and I'm genuinely curious about the whole process there. But then there's the cost of flights, time off work, and finding accommodation — and I'm really not sure how that all adds up honestly.
Has anyone else been in this exact spot? How did you make the call? Did you end up going to Korea or staying put? I'd love to hear what factors actually mattered most to you, whether it was price, expertise, recovery time, or just the whole experience. No judgment either way — I just want to hear from real people who've thought through it!

I totally get how Bea feels! I had the same concerns. In the end, I decided to go to Korea, and I'm so glad I did some online consultations beforehand. It helped me figure out what kind of treatments I wanted and whether the medical staff would really listen to me before I even went. It's definitely a big commitment when you factor in travel costs and recovery time, but for me, being able to consult until I was completely satisfied was the biggest source of reassurance. I hope Bea can also consult with various people and make a choice that feels right for her!
