Hi, this is Akari. I've been struggling with something for a while, and I've finally decided to ask for your advice. I'm wondering whether or not to have double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I know I can get it done in Japan, and the technology isn't bad, but I've heard that cosmetic medicine is really advanced in Korea, and that it's cheaper, right? But then there's the cost of airfare, whether I'll need to go back and forth multiple times, the language barrier... actually having surgery overseas seems much more difficult than I imagined.

What I really want to know is, what was the most important factor for you when you made this decision? Is the difference in technology really that big, or does it ultimately come down to choosing the right doctor? Also, if you went from Japan, were there any problems with post-operative follow-up visits or anything like that? I'm worried about the language barrier, and what would I do if something went wrong?

To be honest, I still haven't made up my mind. If anyone has thought about this in the same way, I would be grateful if you could share your experiences and what made the decision for you.
