Hi everyone, I'm Tao. I've been considering getting a cosmetic procedure done lately, but I'm stuck in a dilemma. There are quite a few good medical aesthetic institutions in China—they're close by, the cost is lower, and the recovery period can be comfortably spent at home. However, many friends have told me that South Korea has unique advantages in aesthetic concepts and techniques, and a trip there would allow me to learn more, which I feel would be more reassuring.
My biggest problem is weighing these factors. If I get it done in China, it will save time and money, but will the results be less than ideal? If I come to South Korea, although it will require taking time off work, flying, and there might be language barriers, it seems more secure? There's also the issue of post-operative care; how do I follow up after the procedure in South Korea?
Has anyone gone through this selection process? How did you finally decide? What was the most important factor you considered? I'm really undecided right now and would like to hear everyone's thoughts.
