Hey everyone! So I've been seriously considering getting a double eyelid procedure done in Seoul, and I'm trying to figure out if traveling all that way from the US is actually the right move. I've heard Korea has a really established aesthetic culture and tons of experience with this kind of procedure, which is appealing. But I'm also nervous about the logistics—flying out, recovery time abroad, follow-up appointments if something goes wrong, all of that.

I guess my main questions are: has anyone here done this as a foreigner? Like, was the travel and recovery process actually manageable? And how did you decide it was worth going overseas versus just finding someone local? I'm trying to be realistic about whether I'm drawn to the idea because it genuinely makes sense or just because it feels like a cool experience.

Also, I'm curious about the whole aftercare thing when you're not in the same country as the clinic. Did anyone feel stressed about that, or did clinics seem used to dealing with international patients? Any honest thoughts would help me think this through!
