Hello, my name is Honoka. I've been thinking about double eyelid surgery for a while, and I'm torn between getting it done in Japan or going to Seoul... I've heard that it's more affordable in Korea, and I've seen so many case studies, so I'm curious. However, when it comes to surgery abroad, I'm really worried about aftercare and what to do if any problems arise.
If I go to Seoul, about how many days would be needed from consultation to surgery and recovery? I also need to consider my work schedule, so I'd like to know a realistic timeline. Also, what about the language barrier? How do people actually handle it? Do you use an interpreter, or is English sufficient...?
If anyone has gone through this, I'd be grateful if you could share what was most important when making your decision. I'm still not entirely convinced if it's truly worth the trip compared to getting it done in Japan.

Hey Honoka! I'm actually in a similar boat — thinking about doing something similar while visiting Seoul, and I'm also worried about the aftercare logistics from abroad. The scheduling and language barrier stuff you mentioned are exactly what I've been stressed about too, so hopefully someone who's done it can chime in with real experience!
How are you! You have quite a few questions too 😅 If you've chosen to go to Seoul, why did you choose South Korea over Japan? Is it because of the price or because you saw work you liked more? Either way, I'd love to hear more about your experience!
