Hello, it's Nao. I'm considering cosmetic procedures in Korea and would like to know more about nose fillers.
I'm planning a 3-night, 4-day trip to Seoul soon and was hoping to get a nose filler during that time. However, I'll need to fly on a plane before returning home, so I'm concerned about the downtime. How long does the swelling and redness typically last?
I've heard that since it's a non-surgical procedure, the recovery is relatively quick, but if anyone has actually had it done, I'd love to hear the real scoop. I wonder if there are differences depending on the specific procedure, too...
Also, I'd like to know about any post-treatment precautions or things to be mindful of before getting on a plane. Thank you!

To Nao! I understand, treatments during short stays are really a race against time, aren't they? I've been in a similar situation and struggled with it too. Since there seems to be a lot of individual variation, I think it's best to honestly tell your practitioner before the procedure, "I'll be getting on a plane in X days." Then, it would be great if you could properly discuss your skin's reaction and downtime. Good luck!
Hi, did you ask the doctor how long you need to wait before flying after the procedure? I'm planning to get it done on my next trip to Seoul too, but I'm worried about this.
Hi! I'm also considering a similar treatment and wanted to ask you a question: are you planning to book it before you leave, or will you look for one after arriving in Seoul? I'm worried that booking last minute might be rushed, but I'm not sure how far in advance is best to book, so I'd love to hear your plan!
I tried the same idea when I visited Seoul! Honestly, the swelling was there for the first two days, but not too severe. I didn't advise myself to fly on the same day. The best thing is to take a day or two off before flying to feel psychologically reassured 😅
I feel for you! I've also planned walks like this 😅 From what I've heard, it seems to depend on who does it and how it's done. But most people say they see results after the first day. If you're going for a day trip, it's probably best not to schedule anything right after, as swelling and changes can occur. I highly recommend asking your doctor in detail if this procedure is suitable for you, as everyone is different.
