Hi everyone, I'm Lei, from China. I'm planning to get a cosmetic procedure done in South Korea, but I have absolutely no idea how to find a reliable clinic. I've looked at a lot of information on Xiaohongshu and YouTube, but it seems like there's a lot of conflicting information, which makes me a little uneasy.
I'd like to ask experienced women how you chose your clinics? Do you have any advice? I'm particularly concerned about a few things: First, the language barrier. Do I need to confirm beforehand that they offer Chinese-speaking consultations? Or do I have to bring my own translator? Is there a translation fee?
Also, what should I be aware of during the first consultation? I've heard that some clinics are very perfunctory, while others are very thorough… How do you usually tell if a clinic is serious? Are there any warning signs I should avoid?
If any of you have had cosmetic procedures done in South Korea, could you share your experiences? I'd love to hear both good and bad advice. Thank you!
