Hi everyone, I'm Juan. I've been considering getting treatment in Korea lately, but I also have doctor recommendations from friends back home, so I'm a bit unsure.
My main concerns are: coming to Korea requires taking time off work, and the travel time and expenses are significant. I've heard that Korea has very advanced technology and experience in this area, and the post-operative care is different. Staying in China is convenient, but I still have some reservations about the doctors' skill levels and hygiene standards. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
I'd like to ask everyone, how did you make your decision? Has anyone struggled between these two options? I especially want to hear from those who ultimately chose Korea—was it worth it? Besides the results, are the overall experience and follow-up care also important?
If any of you have had similar experiences, could you share how you weighed your options? My mind is a bit muddled right now, and I hope to hear some honest thoughts. 😅

I've been in a similar situation, and I found that the most important thing is to thoroughly research the post-treatment procedures at each place — because if anything goes wrong, the follow-up process will be very different between domestically and in Korea. You should contact the places you're considering directly to ask specifically about the online care they provide for international clients! 😊
I understand your concerns! I also flew there from Taiwan, and honestly, the biggest difference wasn't the outcome but the level of care provided afterward. The doctor gave you a very detailed home care plan, and if there were any problems, you could have online follow-up consultations, which is relatively rare in mainland China. However, vacation and airfare are definitely expenses. You could try asking if any places offer remote tracking services; that might give you more peace of mind. :)
Mr. Huang, that's a tough decision. I have a question: if you were to go to Korea, how long are you planning to stay? I'm struggling with the same thing, and I'm worried about the balance between vacation time and recovery time. 😅
