Hi everyone, I'm Kim from Vietnam. I'm planning to go to South Korea for some minor cosmetic procedures, but I'm quite worried about choosing a trustworthy clinic. I don't know where to start and I'm afraid of being scammed or having communication problems.
Do you have any experience finding clinics in South Korea? What should I check to determine if a clinic is reputable? Do they offer consultations in English or have interpreters? I'm really worried about not understanding what the doctor explains, especially regarding expectations and potential risks.
Has anyone here gone through this before? Any advice from you would be very helpful. Thank you!

Take it easy. I was worried the same way, but the good thing is that many foreigners have successfully done this. Your option is to look at reviews from Thai people on social media and ask detailed questions about their communication skills. There's no rush. 😊
Hello! This is also my first time getting a beauty treatment in Korea, so I totally understand your concerns. Do you already have any friends who have had it done in Korea, or are you planning to inquire on your own? I've heard that some places offer Chinese translation services, but I'm wondering if that's an option you're looking for.
As a foreigner myself, my advice is to first check other patients' real reviews and conversations on Chinese social media platforms, then directly call the hospital to ask if they offer Chinese or English consultation services—good hospitals usually have translators to help. Also, don't be lured in by cheap prices; compare several options and ask clearly what exactly they will do. This will give you peace of mind!
I'm also a foreigner, so I totally understand your concerns! Have you considered finding a consultant who speaks Chinese or English? I think language communication is really important so that you can feel at ease understanding the whole process.
